Sabías qué: Acercarse o nadar con las ballenas es muy peligroso y además puede alterar su comportamiento. La norma mexicana de observación de ballenas permite que las embarcaciones autorizadas se acerquen a máximo 60mts de distancia (100mts para ballena azul y de aleta) y las no autorizadas a 240mts.
¡Por ningún motivo te metas al agua o intentes liberar una ballena enmallada, puede ser muy peligroso!
Si ves una ballena enmallada repórtala a las autoridades de tu localidad (Zona Naval, Capitanía de Puerto, CONANP).

Did you know what?: Getting too close or swimming whit whales can pose risks to humans and the whales and may alter the whale´s behavior. The Mexican whale watching regulations allow authorized vessels to approach whales no closer than 200ft (300ft for blue and fin whales). Vessels with no whale watching permits have to keep 800ft distance.
Do not get in the water or try to release an entangled whale, it´s very dangerous!
If you find an entangled whale report it to the local authorities (Navy, Harbor Master, CONANP).
